HOW TO HELP

Mackinac Bridge in WinterThere are a variety of ways that you can assist the St. Ignace Area Community Foundation. SIACF is managed by a volunteer Board and we are always looking for persons to serve a term on our Board. Terms begin on January 1 and are for three years. Please contact us at any time if you have an interest in this service. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the St. Ignace Public Library beginning at 4:30 P.M.

The SIACF sponsors the St. Ignace All Class Reunion every 5 years with the next event scheduled for 2018. If you are interested in assisting with this event, you can serve on our committee. Proceeds from the Reunion provide revenue for the LaSalle Alumni Fund of SIACF. Please contact us at any time if you are interested in helping with this event.

Donating to SIACF and there are several ways to do this including:

  • Making tax deductible contributions to any or multiple Funds which are explained on our Donate page.
  • Starting a fund with a specific cause or in memory of a specific person or family. Typically to establish a new fund under SIACF a minimum of $10,000 is required.
  • Naming SIACF in your will or estate is a way to ensure a legacy that will last forever. The largest single contribution to SIACF came from an estate donation.
